A more eco-friendly alternative to plastics is jute and is as an alternate to some inflatable flood bags. Sand sacks are made from jute, a durable natural fiber that is derived from the bark of the jute plant. On combustion, it creates non-toxic fumes but is biodegradable and easily decomposes to restore nutrients to the soil. Despite the significant pressure created by floodwaters, our flood bags are strong and sturdy. As a better substitute for conventional jute sacks, PP/HDPE woven sacks and bags are quite popular.
